We had been looking at various types of retirement villages around Perth for about
two years, and after going to seminars and doing our research, we finally decided
on Helena Valley. Coming from the country, the location was ideal as it gave us a
sense of home, yet was close enough to the city if we needed it.
From day one, we wondered why we did not move sooner as the change to our
lifestyle was amazing. Straight away, we met a lot of welcoming new friends who
helped us settle into Village life very quickly. Today, our life is full using the excellent
facilities including the heated pool, gym, coffee lounge, library and craft centre,
going on the Village Bus for outings and visiting other villages in the pennant bowls
competitions.
After five years living here amongst the trees, we certainly have no regrets.
