We take the greatest pleasure in advising that our $6,000,000+ clubhouse is now complete.
It has been great to see our Lifestylers having a ball with the new areas, and the views from the upstairs terraces are spectacular.
Although I have been studying the plans for some time, I’ve been really pleased with the finished product. The completion of Stages 3 and 4 has brought together the whole facility, integrating the Arts and Craft building and bowling green with the rest of the clubhouse. We’ve also been able to give our well-used gym a proper home, moving it from its temporary location in the Arts and Craft building.
The clubhouse also includes a state-of-the-art sound system, which is split into 8 separate zones and controlled by iPad or a couple of wall mounted controllers. The music gives the building a welcoming feeling of activity, while the upstairs and downstairs gas fires add a homely touch during the winter months.
The projector and motorised big screen is great for watching movies, hosting events and we can’t wait for the AFL Grand Final and Melbourne Cup this year. I’m sure it will be a blast, even with COVID protocols in place.
Our Champion’s Den games room is a real feature, with darts and the pool table having their own space, so if the games room downstairs is being used, there’s another space for our Lifestylers to enjoy. Located next to the Sunset Bar and facing out to the Sunset Terrace, there are some truly magical views of the Helena Valley hillside down to the Helena River. We’ve already hosted a wonderful sundowner for our twilight cocktail party photoshoot that featured our lovely village Lifestylers.
Overall, the feedback from the Lifestylers has been awesome and guests from visiting villages have been eyeing off our new clubhouse with envy. We’re very proud of it!
