In 2009, the first tangible steps were taken to bring to life the vision for Helena Valley Lifestyle Village.
The Village is one of 10 communities across Western Australia that form the National Lifestyle Village Group, providing affordable, inspired living for over 50s.
The eighth village in the Group, the first Lifestylers moved into their new Helena Valley home in 2013 and the community will comprise 380 one, two and three-bedroom houses on completion, likely to be within the next few years. More than 300 people currently call the Village, with its state-of-the-art lifestyle facilities, home.
The National Lifestyle Village Group, owned by Serenitas Communities, is one of Australia’s leading providers of over 45s lifestyle villages and has been helping West Australians downsize since 1999.
Helena Valley Lifestyle Village is managed by a professional and capable team with more than 60 years of combined experience in lifestyle village sales and development. This means they’re experts at supporting people through the process of downsizing, often described now more accurately as ‘rightsizing’, to help ensure a smooth journey.
Village Vision
Helena Valley Lifestyle Village was created as a space where people aged over 45 could come together to live in a community atmosphere brimming with country charm while offering city convenience.
The Village offers safety, connectedness, and a fabulous lifestyle – while still being affordable and giving rise to a fresh feeling of freedom. Our residents, who are on average 15 to 20 years younger than at a traditional retirement village, generally experience more freedom – freedom to do more of what they love and what’s important to them and the freedom to try new things and meet new people. They’re also free to reduce their financial worries, thanks to their decision to downsize, and free to ‘lock up and leave’ with ease thanks to moving to a community where so much is handled for them.
