Hi, we’re Mike and Cheryl and we’ve been living in the Village now for nearly seven months and it’s been absolutely great.
We retired from Mandurah and we wanted to come back to Perth. So, when the time came to move back, we looked at three different villages. They were okay, but when we walked in here, we knew that this was the one.
When we showed our son around the Village, he said it’s just like a holiday resort – and it is!
It’s just got a lovely atmosphere, and from the time we walked in, the thing we liked most is just moving into a community. Here we’ve been made so welcome, and we’ve met some lovely people. We’ve done all sorts of things that we hadn’t done before, like playing croquet, yoga, and aqua aerobics. You can do as much or as little as you want!
The quality of the place is phenomenal and it’s not really downsizing as such. It’s a change of life and we have more time to enjoy each other and life itself, which is fantastic.
