Hooray, it’s finally happening! After almost 10 years of waiting, the Water Corporation has finally started work within our Village to construct a new pipeline.

This project will build a new, larger pipeline along our northern boundary and remove the old pipeline which currently traverses our grounds. When the works are finished, our Village will enjoy better traffic movements throughout. It will also allow us to complete the final stages of our community, where sites are being snapped up by those keen to ensure they don’t miss out.

We are told by the Water Corporation that these works should be completed by the end of November this year, all things going to plan. While this is much later than we were originally told and will be an interruption and change our traffic flows for a while, we’re grateful the project is now happening. Needless to say, we’ll be more than ready to celebrate its completion and know it will be a wonderful milestone for the Village.

When our community is done, we will have 380 homes on site. Currently, 286 of our residences are occupied and there are only 68 new homes left to purchase here at Helena Valley! While that might sound like plenty, when you then take out the access sites (those that can’t be built on until the very end of the project to allow access for the trucks and crane to bring houses onto site) and then break it down into how many of each home design are still available, it’s not that many! Some home designs have already sold out of the entire Village and there is only one of others – such as the Bellbush, Bottlebrush, Cottonwood and Eucalypt – left.
If you’ve been considering taking advantage of our outstanding facilities and wonderful community tucked into a picturesque pocket of Helena Valley, then I’d encourage you to secure your site sooner rather than later, so you don’t miss out on moving into our very special Village.
