A sunny Saturday afternoon in June saw the Village host its inaugural Dog Show and Bake Off, in what turned out to be a tremendous day for dog lovers and sweet tooths alike!
A great crowd gathered to watch the Dog Show, which starred our own hilarious Des Noonan as MC, while new residents Stephen, a dog trainer, and Alison stepped up to help run the event.
Two of the most entertaining categories saw owners and dogs complete an obstacle course and participate in an owner and dog lookalike contest!
All entrants took home a doggy bag, complete with homemade dog biscuits, courtesy of Kaylene.
Following the canine fun, the Village’s best bakers headed into the Clubhouse kitchen to showcase their skills.
The Bake Off saw Lifestylers enjoy an array of tantalising slices, cakes, scones and biscuits, with the winning wares selected by professional baker Wayne Delaney.
