Understandably, this is a question we often get asked and while we can’t speak for other villages, at Helena Valley Lifestyle Village the answer is simple – “Yes, you do own your own home”.
Once you purchase a home in our beautiful Village, it’s your home, you own it and can therefore do with it as you like. You can leave it to your kids, or even relocate it from the village and install it on a block of land if you prefer!
The land is held on a very long-term lease, which finishes in 2073 (assuming it’s not renewed before then) and this lease includes shire rates, water rates, sewer rates, mail delivery and rubbish removal. What’s more is that you also have access to over $6m worth of facilities including a fully equipped gym, indoor heated swimming pool, spa, sauna, bowling green plus lots more. At Helena Valley Lifestyle Village, we also include maintenance of all facilities and common areas including your front garden, plus the marketing and resale of your home! That’s right, should you wish to sell (not that we think you will), the marketing and resale of your home is also included in the weekly fee and we let you out of the lease!
