Over the months of April, May and June, Helena Valley Lifestyle Village was awash with hoops, balls and mallets as it hosted the Bush Croquet 4th World Championships.
There were six events held over the three months, with 50 participants (32 women and 18 men) negotiating a variety of challenging obstacles to the delight of spectators.
After some closely fought out finals, the Championships wound up in late June with prize presentations and a splendid afternoon tea at the Village.
Coordinated by the Village Bush Croquet Group, the event was made possible thanks to the generous support of the Village’s administration.
