Well, they say time flies when you’re having fun and time is certainly flying by here at the Village!
Having now completed Stages 7 and 8 of the Village in their entirety, we’ve been very busy welcoming a lovely group of new Lifestylers into the fold.
This year has seen us working on more than 50 new homes – which were in different stages of the build cycle as we began 2022 – and we now have just a handful of one bedroom home sites and four two bedroom homes sites available to build on.
Bookings are also open for sites in Stages 9 and 10 and we expect that homes will be able to be installed on those towards the end of 2023, once the Water Corporation completes its pipeline works in the Village. Some of these sites have already been snapped up, so if you’re considering becoming part of our community, it’s definitely worth getting in early to select the location that best suits you and your budget.
The Village is also abuzz with anticipation for the new bowling green that will be built as part of our forthcoming Function Centre. The plans for this are looking great and the hot tip is that construction will start in March next year, when the materials needed for the green are expected to become available.
In other news from the Village, our resident band continues to showcase its incredible talent, sounding great during weekly rehearsals in the Clubhouse and inspiring so many of us as we witness the fun they have playing and the joy they give to others while performing.
If you’re thinking about downsizing and joining us on the Village dance floor (or in the darts room, bar, pool, spa or men’s shed!), don’t delay because this financial year has been busier than our record-breaking year in 2021 and things don’t look like slowing down any time soon.
