My name is Carol Wilkinson and I’ve been here come next month, seven years. I lived in Wannanup before here and unfortunately my husband had terminal illness. So we came back to Perth because all my family are here in Perth and I had to start a new complete lifestyle.
I chose Helena Valley Lifestyle Village because my sister lives here. We live next door to each other because we get on so well.
You’re mixing with people all the time and people can be very supportive towards you and it’s such a lovely area.
The facilities are really great, fantastic for if you don’t do any sport or if you do do sport, you can do whatever you want.
I enjoy getting out with the girls and you know, sometimes we do a bit of catering downstairs. I used to go to the craft group.
I did the swimming, you know, the swimming classes and all these little things have helped me build up my confidence again because it’s completely new life style.
Helena Valley has really helped me find my way again.
