I blinked and half the year was gone!

I can’t believe we’re almost half way through 2023 already. My what a time it’s been.

We’ve had 57 homes sold this financial year as at writing this message and we’ve handed over 50 homes to their new owners as well, 40 of those are new homes and 10 of those were resales.

I must say I’m very proud of the team and what they’ve been able to achieve this year especially when I read the horror stories out in suburbia where some people have bought homes 2 and 3 years ago and are still waiting for them to be built!

We’ve had some difficult delays of 2 and 3 months at times in this tough building environment, but never 2 and 3 years…

Though, we are starting to see a change in the building environment now with some of the ridiculous pressures with lack of materials and labour starting to lessen off giving us a much better runway to finishing homes on time and catching up on some maintenance which is now overdue in some cases.
The social atmosphere continues to thrive with dozens of activities on throughout the village from water aerobics to line dancing, pilates, bowling, darts and bridge to name a few.

We are very excited to have started work on our new Function Centre where we will have a full size 36m x 36m bowling green and a wonderful Function Centre capable of accommodating around 150 people (subject to shire approval) which we hope to have completed in the second half of this year or first half of next year.

We are also running very short of home sites to build on straight away. Nearly all the 2 and 3 bedroom home sites available now are in stages 9 and 10 which happens after the Water Corporation complete the pipeline works around the middle of next year. Although they are a little time away from being available, they are going fast and will be the last home sites available in the village.

So, if you’ve been thinking about making a change to a wonderful lifestyle with well over $7m worth of facilities you can use everyday, then now is the time to get in before it’s too late!

Until next time

Cheers
John
