My, how time flies!
We hope you all enjoyed a very Merry Christmas and a happy start to 2023.
We ended 2022 in fabulous style here at Helena Valley, with all manner of celebrations and inspiring displays of Village spirit!
Early in November, we hosted an entertaining Melbourne Cup event in our Clubhouse, which was closely followed by a touching Remembrance Day tribute.
December, of course, saw the Clubhouse undergo a festive transformation and a number of gatherings were held, including a delicious Christmas dinner, Carols by Candlelight and a New Year’s Eve do. Our luxurious Clubhouse was also well utilised for family catch ups over the period and, with work underway on our Function and Family Centre, we’re looking forward to future festive seasons in the Village.
The last month of 2022 also saw eight new lifestylers settle into their new Village homes. In total last year we welcomed 47 additional households, four more than the year before. Since July 2022, offers have been made on 37 homes and have been busy trying to get them all finished. In many cases, we’ve completed the internal home fit out first and finalised the outside after our lifestylers have moved in, to ensure they had somewhere to live. Thanks to everyone for their patience in what is a challenging construction environment.
Sales are strong for home sites that sit over the water pipeline running through the Village and it appears they’ll be sold out before we begin building. So, if you’ve been thinking about joining our community, it would be worthwhile touching base with us now, so you don’t miss out.
