The generosity of our residents continues to overwhelm us.
Each month for the past eight years, the Village has donated preloved and new items to Starting Over Support SOS, which supports people in crisis to start over in a new home.
We’re the only lifestyle community in WA to support this phenomenal charity with monthly collections and, in October, we proudly provided more than 60 filled buckets, boxes or bags.
This special initiative, coordinated by our Craft Group, has seen our Lifestylers donate more than 80 handmade blankets, a dozen quilts and 300 potholders (in addition to many personal hygiene and household products).
Our recent collection doubled as a lovely morning tea, with Kathy from Starting Over Support SOS sharing details of the charity’s important activities.
