The upper games room was the scene of intense competition on Friday 10 October as the final of the pool competition unfolded between Mike Vandine and Kevin Fletcher in front of a handful of spectators.

Mike was quick out of the blocks, winning the first three games before Kevin hustled back into contention by winning the next two games.

Mike then put Kevin to the sword by winning game number six, taking the final 4-2 in a best of seven games match.

Thanks to Serenitas for their sponsorship of the final with vouchers for the winner and runner up.

To all participants, thank you for making the competition such a success – and if you’d like to sharpen your skills, practice sessions run every Monday between 11:30am and 1:30pm.
