Despite everything that has happened this year, the village once again took the time to reflect on Remembrance Day – a beautiful memorial to our fallen family, friends and brave soldiers of years gone by.
It was wonderful to see so many decorated veterans attend, speak words of wisdom and beauty to touch the heart and remind us of the ultimate sacrifice they made so that we may enjoy the lives we have today.
The wreaths were a touching tribute, while the minute’s silence and the beautiful yet haunting sound of the Last Post always brings a chill to the bone and a tear to the eye. Lest We Forget.
