Wow. What a time it’s been at the Village since our last magazine!
We’ve been experiencing unprecedented sales demand and surpassed our previous record for the number of home contracts signed in a financial year. This means we currently have more than 50 homes in our sales pipeline – our highest number ever – and dozens of people readying themselves to move in!
This flurry of activity is no surprise because an influx of new retirees is expected in Australia soon. With Australian Bureau of Statistics’ figures revealing 226,000 Australians intend to retire in the next two years and 710,000 within five years, people are very keen to secure homes in their chosen communities now.
Our busy time has been made even busier thanks to the major Water Corporation works that are underway in the Village. We’ve had to close our main entrance to accommodate this upgrade and have built an alternative entry. The great news is that none of this has stopped future residents visiting us and buying homes – and there are now fewer than 40 home sites left (and many specific designs have sold out) at Helena Valley Lifestyle Village.
During this period, we’ve also completed a new carpark behind our Clubhouse and the opening of our brand new bowling green is imminent. This bowling green forms part of a greater refurbishment of the area, including the construction of a new Function Centre, planned for early 2025.
Lastly, we’ve just finalised the civil designs for the Village’s last two stages (9 and 10), which are selling strongly. Work on these will start once the Water Corporation works are done so, if you’ve been thinking about enjoying a great lifestyle in a wonderful location, your time is running out!
