The Village is home to a good number of green thumbs – and this group showed off their talents with a Garden Day in 2024.
The day doubled as a fundraiser, with an array of waterwise plants made available for sale. The proceeds of the event, which also featured a morning tea for all to enjoy, will go towards buying soil and fertiliser for future projects and replacing the garden group’s hard worked tools.
As well as growing a range of produce, our green thumbs work tirelessly all year round potting up plants and many of these have been used for the revegetation of the Village’s compensation basin.
